Classroom Technology a Step Towards Building the Self-Confidence

Classroom technology is been changing and the changes are definitely for the improvement and betterment. Teachers were just using the text books for teaching and the students were completely dependent on them for notes and tuition's. Children were becoming very sloppy and always required help in doing or trying something new. The fear factor amongst the students was growing. Many teachers felt good about the student dependability on them but there were few other teachers who felt the need of building self confidence and non- dependability in the children.

These were the teachers who believed in technology and readily accepted all the new technical changes happening in the classroom technology. As days passed computers and then later internet made their ways into the classroom. This was the period when the teachers thought that education and student understanding can be taken to next level. This was the time when the teachers started incorporating the feel of independence in the students. Rather than completely spoon feeding the use of computers they left the students with the new tool and advised to explore the tool themselves.

When teachers shouldered some responsibility to the students they started working on their own. Some students required help in progressing, which was provided by the teachers. Slowly students with the help of new technology started realising the importance of technology and in dependency. The classroom technology was yet progressing and the interactive whiteboards made their ways in the schools. The tool is been used in majority of schools and colleges. It is a tool which can create wonders in the classroom.
